			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I feel that I had a fairly decent week. I really didn&#8217;t eat bad and I did work out 3 days this week. My sister and I played tennis last night and it was quite a work out! I will just say this though&#8212;we are not good! But hey, all that matters is that we are burning calories and having fun! So&#8211;if anyone has tennis pointers for beginners&#8211;shoot them my way!</p>
<p>I think my biggest struggle with dieting right now is making myself bring food to work. It is hard trying to plan lunch and having to cook it/pack it the night before. I guess it is not really HARD&#8212;just more that I am LAZY! <img src='http://s2.wp.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>I also know that if I do not take my workout clothes with me to work each morning, I then have to go home to change and I am REAL good at finding other things to do rather than go to the gym! Even things that aren&#8217;t fun&#8211;like laundry and cleaning. I have go to push myself a little harder.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I have had a pretty crazy couple of months. I joined this site, then forgot all about it. I have not done as well as I had hoped since I first got motivated to lose weight again&#8230;I would diet for a few days, exercise a little, then eat bad with my friends when we went out. I have just been following the same pattern and it has to stop! I just did a full body detox for 7 days&#8211;I lost 8 pounds and I feel great! I am very proud of myself for sticking with it. I can HONESTLY say that in those 7 days, I did not cheat&#8230;not even ONCE! That is very unusual for me! At this point, I am just trying to watch what I eat and work out at the gym. I am going to attempt to read Dr. Beck&#8217;s book again (I didn&#8217;t get very far the last time!). But&#8230;I am going to do this!</p>
<p> Last week, at the gym, I got on the treadmill and MADE myself stick with my original 15 minute time, but then, I pushed myself to go 10 more, then 5 more! So&#8212;at the end of my workout, I had run for 15 minutes (which I used to do all the time when I was in shape, so I am suprised I lasted that long!) and powerwalked for 15 minutes. There is nothing better than the feeling of achieving something you push yourself toward. My mom, sister, and co-worker are also beginning their own fitness goals! It also feels good to know that I am motivating the people around me. My sister and I are also looking to take up tennis as a hobby/sport/workout. I think it will be fun, challenging, and a great way to get in shape! We are going tonight to buy the &#8220;beginning tennis gear.&#8221; I am excited.</p>
<p> I really hope I am able to stick with it this time&#8230;I am tired of being out of shape and unhealthy!</p>

I was reading the Oprah magazine last night while getting a pedicure and there was an article about Judith Beck&#8217;s new book: The Beck Diet Solution. I was very encouraged by the woman&#8217;s article and decided to purchase the book and try it for myself. I just started reading it today. I found this website for blogs and thought that maybe having the encouragement from fellow dieters and being able to read other dieting stories might actually help motivate me this time. I am setting realistic goals for myself and trying to do this the right way.
